Each kit provides the information and supplies necessary for educators to teach their students about a particular topic in microbial oceanography. Roosevelt High School Research Experience at C-MORE

C-MORE is pleased to announce a partnership with Roosevelt High School. The centerpiece of this partnership is an authentic research experience, aimed at engaging biology students in cutting-edge research in microbial oceanography. Through this six-day experiment, students investigate factors that regulate microbial growth and distribution in the ocean. Students learn valuable laboratory techniques, experimental design principles, and hypothesis testing through data analysis and interpretation.

Once your students have identified their microbial match, you can use these resources to stimulate discussion in your classroom about how organisms are classified and about the broad range of attributes that enable organisms to occupy various niches.
