Thesis title: Ecophysiological description of Bacteria from Admiralty Bay
(Antarctica), and the Digestive Tracts of Selected Euphausiidae.

My doctoral work also considered bacteria in the digestive tract of the
Antarctic teleost Notothenia neglecta, euphausiid faeces, and sea-ice,
and marine yeasts. I established a collection of over 400 bacterial and
yeast strains which is now housed in various Polish institutes.
