Influx Mariner

The Influx Mariner is a high-speed sorter and analyzer with many upgrades specific to marine flow cytometry. The initial purchases of the Influx Mariner were made possible by grants from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. Since this initial purchase of five instruments several more Mariners have been obtained by oceanographic institutions. While our numbers are still small our laboratories represent the cutting edge of research in microbial oceanography and the Influx Mariner is poised to be at the forefront of marine cytometry.
